I was still having flow issues due to the high plantmass in this aquascape and therefore I continued to make changes to the positioning of the equipment.
The usual suspect 'BBA' was indicating that there was a CO2 problem and this was due to the flow.
Firstly I decided to try out the Boyu inline diffuser that Peter Kirwan used in his mountainscape V2 scape. The initial observations were good with very small bubbles.
Then I decided to put the pipes that came with the filter in to see if the flow reduction from using glass attachments were adding to the problem.
27th October 2008
I removed the balansae and Spiralis from the left of the tank and then put the Philippine Java in its place.
I then planted 2 pots of Tropica Pogostomen Helferi where the Philippine Fern was in the rear.
