The light has been upgraded and I am moving onto the EI dosing method.
The wiring for the 2 18W lights was cut. Then a single electronic 18W ballast was wired in so that I could run the front 18W T8 lamp. A 55W CF was put into its endcap and then clipped into the vacated rear light section. Now we have 73W which makes 2.2WPG. The Original Tropical is at the front to counteract the Interpet daylight CF but it looks a little dark and pink so will be swapped out for the Freshwater lamp.

The Cyperus Helferi has been removed to be replaced by some Leopard Vals. Other additions to try out are Hygrophila Polysperma 'Rosanervig', Anubias, Cryptocoryne Balansae, Fissidens, Anubias 'petite' and Mini Pellia.
The 18W lights have been swapped around and is much better.
I have broken the barrier here and am struggling with huge swathes of BBA and Staghorn algae. The yeast CO2 is not really doing it's job even though the DC shows green in the day. The photoperiod is 18W for 4 hours then 73W for 4 hours and back to 18W for the final 4 hours.
