I have recently made a new bookcase and cabinet which are veneered in Ash. As this little tank is going to be positioned on this bookcase I decided to veneer the luminaire and then hang it. First step was to veneer the outside and then the undersection. Quite tricky but it will look good when finished.

A little belatedly I have an update on this little luminaire fully veneered and suspended above the nano tank within the bookcase. Since the last update it has also had 4 coats of Tung Oil applied to it.
Looks quite sweet and professional if I do say so myself.
