The substrate goes in and is layered. First layer - Leonardite. Second layer - JBL FloraStart. Top layer - Roman Gravel - Highland Blend.

Then the hardscape is added, pretty similar in position to Filipe Oliveira's aquascape just on a much smaller scale and different coloured/textured rock.

3rd February 2009

I moved the stones a bit and then got bored so rigged up a spraybar, added some water, added some plants and then filled up. Then I started up the filter and heater.

It is now sitting in LED light heaven above my main tank.

Dosing is 5ml macros, 1.8ml of micros and 3ml of EasyCarbo daily.
