Day 2 of the project and I started getting the hang of laying slabs. Today we have reached the 31 mark and also laid a lot of the block paving border.

I also laid a 'spare' slab as a step into the shed, however later I decided I didn't like it and instead laid some smaller slabs level with the rest of the patio.

It starting to look quite good already.









11th June 2010

The project is virtually finished now. All that is left to do is tolay a couple of more slabs at the end of the shed and then to lay the borders.

We are already using the patio area for dining. The weather at the moment is pretty warm to say the least. Hopefull it will remain so and we can enjoy a whole summer out in the sun.
