Description Beach Plastic Transformed Into Red And Black Earrings. Our beach plastic transformed into red and black earrings, have been hand made using pieces of plastic cleared off a local beach. The  beach plastic inclusions have been set in a clear bio resin, which allows the plastic “trash” to be showcased.  Swirls of gold dye have also been added to give a sense of luxury to jewellery made from litter.  The clear bio resin subsequently allows us to promote more awareness about the amount of plastic waste found washed up on our beaches or discarded in our waterways. These earrings are so light weight [ only weighing approximately 8 grams ] you won’t even know you have them on!! We use bio resin, and also new stainless steel findings, in order to reduce our impact on the environment as much as possible. We hand collect, sort and hand wash all the plastic and synthetic waste we use.  All the debris we use has been washed up on our beaches or collected and taken out of our waterways.
