Classic leather dog leads – Longer lengths

Description Classic leather dog leads are straightforward, strong flat 4mm thick British bridle leather leads in useful lengths. These leads will just get better with use and treatment with a good leathercare product. Soft, supple and comfortable in the hands; as with all of my leathergoods, the edges are all bevelled and burnished. They’re fitted with a strong swivel trigger clip, the 12mm width has a slimmer lighter weight clip than the chunkier ones on all of the wider leads.  All trigger clips are approximately 7.5cm (3″) long. All Classic leather leads have a useful ring fitted in the handle which can be used to shorten the lead by either attaching the trigger clip to the ring in the handle or simply passing the end of the clip through the ring, and then attaching to the collar.  This also enables you to easily carry the lead across your body when your dog is off the lead. They are suitable for showing, training and everyday use for small to very large dogs – just choose the length and width to match the dog and how you will be using it! The wider the leather, the stronger the lead. They are all individually handmade and handstitched, with a generous 7″ (17.5cm) handle loop. Available in 36″/91cm, 48″/122cm, 54″/137cm, 60″/152cm or 72″/182cm standard lengths, but other custom lengths can be made on request. Lengths do not include any rings or clips! There is a choice of colours, but not all lead lengths are available in all colours due to the lengths of the hides available.
